the game makes me restart the computer every time I start a new game

Whats the matter? Game runs fine right now. Maybe your PC (graphic) doesnt match the specs?
Or uninstall some stupid creepy “Antivirus” like Avira, Avast, Bitdefender etc. Best right now is Malewarebytes. And disable Win Defender.

I read about people on steam who are complaining about these incomprehensible crashes
exceeded the great requirements required but after a while the pc is reset without issuing any errors
it only happens with this title so the problem is not my computer but the game

I can’t run the game. It starts fine. When I click new game and start it, it loads and then just black screen with music from the game. Whad do I do? Can anyone help? Please?

its a CODEX release so im assuming its working fine but it would be nice to have a few more confirmations that its working properly. so far i see one person posted that they played for over an hour no issues, can anyone else confirm its working fine? THANK YOU SKIDROW

I’m having the same problem as @Phill. I can start the game, but it hangs at the Act I screen and then CTD.
I’ve tried re-copying the CODEX files, editing the config file and setting Offline, both block/allow the .exe through the firewall, ensure no AV and all attempts get the same results. CTD after attempting to start.

Early Alpha was quite boring, i mean engine from Bioshock old but not offending at all, but gameplay ? ugh… Survival with permadeath ? and ther was so little information what to do even with guides… we need better games not this shit.

Played the game for over 2 hours cause i really wanted to give this a chance and i can safely say i’m glad i didn’t buy it after all, its pretty to look at but its boring. its just another collect the random items to build weapons, lock picks, gain experience to unlock moves/powerups etc but the thing is its all been done before and a lot better. really not worth the asking price and the fact its taken them so long to produce this is just sad. i bet there aren’t that many happy few backers right now.
The game closes as soon as the first 20 minutes of game, as the character begins to escape the game closes, I’m playing on windows 10, I use a Gtx I7 1060 6gb, it does not work

i do confirm it’s working well on my end,
had a huge loading screen time that made me restart the game but since then so far so good and pretty quick to install
Game works fine from a cracking/emu standpoint.
The game itself hurts my eyes and head.
This game has some type of built in Motion Blur that Im not sure can be removed as it is some how embeded into the game or a setting in the Unreal Engine 4 the game forces.
It may not be Motion Blur but it effectively is… when you turn your screen/camera the particles or focus will become altered by a blur with is either due to “bloom”, “HDR”, Motion Blur, AutoAdjusting, or something else effecting the quality of rendering in motion. This is plenty of peoples number one complaint in Unreal Engine 4 as “Blur” is already natrually applied to objects by the eye its self adding on to this with simulation not only hurts your eyes but also your head as your brain wonder what went wrong on its natural focus mechanicsm. No Engine has “Blur” as the core of its features so heavily as Unreal Engine 4 and that is why forever it will be a failure in our eyes… and in our minds…

O meu jogo esta tendo umas quedas absurdas de FPS, isso acontece com mais alguem? Eu tenho uma GTX1070, i7-7700K, 24GB RAM, não sei se isso deveria acontecer, algumas vezes cai na casa do 20 FPS, e muitas partes fica em 49 FPS mesmo diminuindo a qualidade. Achei muito estranho isso.
I somehow managed to play the game, so I don’t have any problems with system requierments. I played it only three times, and even after I play the game, I just can’t start it. And now I can’t launch it. When I click the game, it just shows me the name of the game and nothing happens. I think that there is some problem with screen resolutions or compatibility. I can’t figure what it is. Can anyone help? The game itself is really good, I would buy it, but 60 euro is jus too much for me.

hello friends played 4 hours witout any mistakes and I made a save and shut down system i have this: i5 processor 16 gb ram nvidia gtx 1050 gaming 4 gb msi samsung 500 gb ssd 1 tb hdd then i turn on the game I guess what game I HAVE SAVED nothıng save game gone screen settıngs gone all the rules are back to normal IM SORRY THAT I MADE so many epısodes ı made loot done the task all gone ım gone help me you can write the solution if you have such a save problem help me !!!!
Fun, kinda, can’t believe their charging 50 bucks for this on steam………also turned my language in steam from english to russian, which I had to reset everytime I played this. So put the time in, beat it in 3 days, and uninstalled. Haven’t had any russian popping up since then.
Hiya, act 2 won’t load–the loading bar just gets halfway then stops. this is apparently pre-patch problem, so will we see a new patch for the game in the future?
