Worrks fine, Start the game through “steamclient_loader.exe” as mentiooned above
The game is crashing after playing for 5 to 10 minutes
it keeps crasging 3-5min since launched

Doesn’t respond to any input after a certain amount of time, but keeps playing.
After updating steam and steam version of aoe 2 de i get a crash in 10 seconds after loading a mission.

My game crashes after playing for 5 to 10 minutes, does anyone have a solution please?
close running xbox apps from task manager
block all .exe files in main game directory from firewall(if can’t just cut off the internet)
keep vcredist updated
then everything should be fine..
Didn’t fix it for me.
Not sure what apps are xbox apps but “gaming service” can’t be disabled.
Cut off all outgoing connections from the exes, updated vcredist, still a lot of crashes.
Blocked input is caused by pressing shift + tab (which is supposed to open steam overlay)
Press again to close it.

Hi there,
I’ve been suffering the same crashes since v87863. I believe it is related to autosaving, and somehow it is linked to the cloud so that might be the error. I’ve tried in all ways, also the ones listed above and non of them worked in any version since that one.
Please in case anybody knows how to correct this, let the rest know about it.
