what I have to do for work files to work:
copy all files from: AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\1084600\remote
to: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Steam\RUNE\1084600\remote

What to do when saving fails
1. Switch to English only when saving
Possibility of failure is not 0
2. Change the character code (system locale) of Windows to UTF-8 (if possible)

Game works fine. To those with the ‘Game save failed’ issue, check your Windows Defender > Protection history, it blocked the game. Just allow it and you should be fine. Thank you

Because you’re not cracking the game yet. Copy all files in RUNE folder and paste it in the game directory you’ve installed.
