THX CODEX,not shure game will offer more pleasure than pain,but it seems after first tests wich indicates the appearing good quality of the game it deserves at least to play it to see by itselft it’s potencial so it will maybe the first good dark soul like of history for me if crafting is not as boring and long as Nioh,and if difficulty is not linked to sadism like Dark souls likes games in general wich obligates gamer to spend 100 redondants hours to finish it while it could be finished in 10 or 20 in a easy (normal) mode and experience would be nearly the same but with pleasure and loosing less times for nothing in fact.

Guys, for those who has controller spinning i have the solution !
1: Download the DS4 Windows program
2: Open the program and connect the controll
3: Go to Settings and mark the Hide DS4 option
4: Just load the game and play =)

The game doesn’t have a very good controller support. It’s recommended to play the game with a controller, but at least the PS4 controller can’t be used, so it’s best to wait for a patch or something.

For all you wondering How… Its been out in AU (Australia) for like 7-8 hours now because they are literally 11-16 hours ahead of us depending where they are and you are, and time of year. I’d put money the fact this is AU version.
I have found a solution for DualShock users just download the ds4windows and connect your controller and in the settings of the ds4windows just tick on hide ds4 option and restart your pc and open this software again and it will work perfectly

Funciona bien. Para los que tienen problemas con el control de ps4 si les aparece un cartel en rojo al abrir el ds4 no les va a andar el control. Tienen que ir a “configurar dispositivos de juego USB” y en opciones avanzadas seleccionan el controlador xbox como dispositivo predeterminado.

I had to do the “hide ds4 controller settin”g but had to make sure i had reactivated the controller in the device manager because i had read that in a previous comment. after that everything worked fine in game so far
I’ve always used DS4 Windows to play with my DualShock 4, even with it enabled, the game simply won’t recognize the controller… Tried to close Steam to avoid conflicts and did tick the “Hide PS4 Controller” on DS4 Windows, restarted my PC and NOTHING, please someone come up with a solution, I want to play this game so badly but won’t do so on keyboard, I want the full experience =(

For those having issues with the game not detecting DS4, here’s another fix if the “hide DS4” in DS4Windows didn’t work:
1-Run DS4Windows. Make sure it’s detecting your controller and the “hide DS4” option isn’t ticked.
2-Add the game on Steam.(Not sure how dangerous this is for your Steam account though)
3-Open Big Picture then check the check the “Xbox Configuration Support” setting.(I checked “PlayStation” and “Generic Gamepad” options a well just to be sure)
4-Run the game from Big Picture Mode.
I can confirm that this worked for me and without the camera spinning issue.
Hopefully they release a patch that makes it so you don’t need any of this. Seems the game doesn’t have native DS4 support for some odd reason.

just add the game shortcut to the steam library the open steam in big picture mod and launch the game from there, xbox one controller works just fine, next i need to sort out the rubbish frame rate this game has.

what funny is if i force ps4 controller to play this game with emulator, it cause an input delay. yup for the game that you can’t spam block or parry, having delay make me can’t play this game. time to plug in xbox controller again ?!

For people having problems that the game opens steam, you need to apply the crack.
Steps:
Obviously, you have already downloaded the game and installed it.
1. Go back to your downloads file or whatever and open up the iso file again/go to iso file/DVD Drive in your explorer
2. Open ISO and next to where you clicked “setup” application with all the nice music you should see a folder named CODEX.
3. Open CODEX and copy all the files in the folder.
4. Go to the folder where your Sekiro game installed (usually under program files x86 folder, it’ll be called “Sekiro Shadows Die Twice” )
5. Paste the files in there and say “yes” to replace them with the new crack files.
6. Profit

For everyone with a fucked up resolution (oversized) and blinking screen, if you have NVIDIA GeForce Experience, tinker with settings so the game starts up in windowed mode and then change back to fullscreen. If you do not have that program just force it into windowed mode some other way and change back to fullscreen.

To anyone having troble with black screen and / or fps
For black screen hit alt+enter for game to minimalize and wait , it can take some time , once you do taht you can change to fullscreen and it should work next time you launch the game .
I had some horrible fps problems which were caused by game using integrated graphic , go into nvidia control panel , 3d settings , add sekiro exe and choose your nvdia graphic card in the first window .

So this isn’t working with any of my controllers no matter what I try. I have 2 different 360 controller and 2 xbone controllers and sekiro wont work with any of them. I tried all the listed fixes like running in steam big picture mode and configuring a controller from there but nothing works. Why doesnt this have native controller support like dark souls 1-3? this sucks I was really looking forward to playing this but I guess I got to wait until there is a patch or something, it seems like this is a really common problem even for people who bough the game.

If you have low fps, make sure you are using hdmi as displayport does not work with the game.
For controllers, go in steam big picture and in controller settings make sure that you only have 1 controller listed.

Works great to fix a errors just follow this:
*White/Black screen crash at launch:
>Just wait 10 minutes, ctrl+alt+supr close the process on the task manager or close the session.
>>Enter the game again wait 10 minutes until star the main screen and chance the resolution acord to your PC resolution or desire. (game starts whit high setting and this is the cause of the crash).
*Low FPS:
>>Go to Nvidia Panel>> 3d Grapich control> Program config>Add> find Sekiro on the desktop direct acces>2. Choose Nvidia high performance procesor. > Apply and close. (you must set your energy PC on high performance).
*Control problems: I play whit PS4 controller whit the application Inputmapper and works great.

Ir al panel de control de Nvidia> controlar la configuracion 3d> configuracion de programa>agregar el juego>2. Seleccionar Procesador Nvidia de alto rendimiento> Aplicar y cerrar> probar(es importante poner la configuracion de energia alto rendimientoen el pánel de energia del pc).
*Problames con el control: usar control de PS4 con la aplicacion inputmapper.

For the folks saying the torrent is too small etc and that it is 25GB on Steam, you are wrong. I preloaded the title on Steam and the preload was also 14GB, with a tiny couple hundred megabyte patch when it installed on day one.

I had controller issues, Steelseries Stratus XL, so i thought i buy the game and that fixes it, but no, i refunded, too bad, game is awesome tho.
If you have the black screen blinking and you cannot find a way to forze window mode. Just reduce your resolution of the screen and run it, that will let you see whats going on so you can adjust the graphic settings.
You will have to use only the keyboard and you need to scroll all the way down for the licence agreement.
why it is stucked in the loading screen only? cant proceed to the game. having the same problem?

Guys i have THE solution and with cracked version!!!!!
1- connect yr ps4 controler
2- launch ds4 windows
3- go to device manager – services – find and desactivate nvcontainerlocalsystem (dont close, just minimise)
4- quit ds4 windows and restart
5- reactivate nvcontainerlocalsystem
6- launch the game
7- Before the game started, disconnect mouse and keyboard usb
8- Enjoy :))))))))))))) 100% works

The game was fine until i reached the area for the first boss that ride horse, there the game crashed. And it keeps crashing there. I don’t know what to do anymore.
The repack v1.02 is even worse that the game crashes at any location after about 15 mins of gameplay

If your ps4 controller won’t do anything in the menus or game and you’re using ds4.
Go to settings tab and check “Hide DS4 controller”
This worked for me very easy fix.

@fire are you holding down the key set to collect? Check your bindings on controller or keyboard and make sure you hold it down not just press. You can suck in coins from a distance by holding it down.

playing this game on arch linux lutris & wine 4.3 dxvk 1.0.1 game works great, but has a problem with loading during gameplay but i think that has more to do with wine and/or dxvk then with the game itself, unless that also happens on windows side.
But i cant tell as i removed windows10 after update x failed to do what it supposed to do, and all the windows bloat ware comes back after any update, so got sick and tired to remove the crap we get pushed down our throat by microbloatware, any way occasionaly a crash fixed that by changing some setting in lutris and have not seen it since.

Game works fine.

Update video drivers. Add game to steam, go to controller settings – put check on xbox/generic compatibility – detect your controller. Make sure no other controller is plugged in pc. Launch game from steam. Enjoy.

Is this the first time you guys have downloaded torrents. When you download a torrent, mount it, and then install it, you must go to the game folder and paste the contents of the “CODEX” map in there.
The “CODEX” map can be found in the primary folder in which the setup is found.
When you encounter the three options given during the copying part, choose the “replace” option.

Iv been playing for few hours now, im past the general guy with the horse but for me to get there it freezes a whole shit tone for few minutes every 10 to 15mins when it freezes i have to sit there waiting and wait till it unfreezes just to continue playing, my computer is high spec too with 1440p 144hz monitor and 1080 ti with 16gb ram, i7 6700k cpu

Hi everyone, to all who have some issues with a PS4 controller, do the following :
Run DS4 windows, click on “Settings” and check the “HIDE DS4 CONTROLLER”.
Then run the game it should work.
If it DOES NOT work, do the following :
Close DS4 Windows, steam, uplay and every other launcher.
Open the Task Manager and go to services. Look for something called : “NvContainerLocalSystem” and stop this service (right click on it).
Start DS4Windows, and go in Settings and check the HIDE option.
Return to the Task Manager et start the service you just turned off.
Launch the game and it should work fines. The issue was coming from the Nvidia Geforce Experience’s Overlay.
You will have to do this again each time you reboot your computer and want to play to Sekiro.
Sry if there is any English’s mistakes, I tried my best ^^.

i downloaded the game and its opening in steam and says me to buy the game.WTF should i do??
the easiest way i found to fix the black screen problem is to run a compatability test by right clicking on the Sekiro-EXE file, then run it on recomended settings as it will default to windows 8 compatability mode.
that solved all problems for me.

Bad game shit console port u gotta exit to menu to see the controls because it represents them with xbox buttons even the camera feels weird and designed more for console , runs really bad on 1440p for how it looks on a 1080ti i give 3/10 rating , can be good i guess if u hook up a controller then even the fps will feel more solid since youre not using a mouse

Hey guys, I tried downloading it using the Megaup.net part 1-4. I extracted the files, but I could only extract part 1 because the other parts are saying that they are duplicates.
I tried installing it using the setup.exe. After that, I tried opening the Sekiro application with 64mb.
It doesn’t wanna open because it’s saying
amd_ags_x64.dll was not found
fmodex64.dll was not found
fmod_event64.dll was not found
oo2core_6_wind64.dll was not found
Any help would be appreciated. My PC doesn’t have a CD-rom drive so I cannot mount and burn it.
